BOA ® Max 2
A unique, professional masseur device.
First device in the world for sequential lymphatic drainage which replaces manual lymphatic drainage at home was constructed by a Polish company METRUM CRYOFLEX in the 90’s.
BOA ® MAX 2 device has all necessary safety and quality certificates. BOA MAX 2 device was created in cooperation with METRUM CRYOFLEX R&D team and fitness, wellness, sports and beauty professionals. The device is safe and of high quality.
Treatment algorithms, control of the valves and airflow by chambers as well as pressure difference in given chambers are in line with anatomical and physiological function of cardiovascular and lymphatic system. No other device offers such technologically advanced solutions used in other to maintain very high level of treatment security and high efficacy.
Tens of thousands of BOA ® series devices are used in physiotherapy centres, nursing homes, cosmetic medicine clinics in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, UK, Scandinavian countries, USA.. Amazon women who require lymphatic drainage on a daily basis use our devices without the need of visiting physiotherapists
BOA ® Max 2 device’s treatment algorithms are based on lymphatic drainage massage technique by Dr Emil Vodder. Only technologically advance devices by METRUM CRYOFLEX can perform automatic Vodder technique drainage without the need of a visit by a massage therapist or going to the rehabilitation centre.
All other devices in the world do not have the algorithm in accordance with the Vodder technique and there is no chance to control the pressure in the cambers (small number of chambers in the cuffs). Use of such devices involves the risk of excessive lymph cumulation in the site of its outlet to the lymph nodes. It can lead to a painful and dangerous oedema and damage to the lymph nodes.
Cuffs with the highest level of security and quality.
Unique Overlapping system
Each chamber in the cuff is connected to the next one overlapping and creating so-called “Overlapping”. This unique technological solution means that the lymph pushed towards large mouths, lymph nodes and vessels does not fall by gravity, but as the next chamber is filled it is moved in the right direction and pace (according to the manual drainage methodology). The use of devices without this system is associated with a high risk of excessive lymph accumulation in the area of its outflow to the nodes causing dangerous swelling and their damage
Multi-chamber cuffs
assuring the highest level of treatment security. Each chamber in the cuff is connected with the next by overlapping. This unique technological solution actively pushed the lymph fluid in the direction of bigger outlets, lymph nodes and vessels and so it does not fall with gravity but with the active filling of the next chamber, it is pushed in the right direction and pace (in accordance with the manual drainage). Use of devices with minimal number of chambers in the cuff carriers the high risk of lymph cumulation in the site of its outlet to the nodes and can lead to a painful and dangerous oedema and the damage of the nodes.
The highest safety
of the procedure
of the procedure
As many as 99% of devices in the world do not have an algorithm compatible with the Vodder technique and there is no possibility of regulating the pressure in the chambers. The use of such devices is associated with a high risk of excessive lymph accumulation in the area of its outflow to the nodes, causing dangerous swelling and damage.
Settings adjusted to individual needs
Smooth gradient regulation
Individually controlled maximal pressure is reduced in accordance with the pressure gradient in lymphatic or venous vessels. As a result of gradient regulation, a strong beginning of the massage in parts of the body distant from inguinal nodes (feet, shank) smoothly proceeds to a massage of a medium and low strength at the level of thighs, pelvis and abdomen (in accordance with manual drainage method).
Algorithms facilitating the handling
Easy start with 6 pre-programmed treatment algorithms
The device has 6 pre-programmed treatment algorithms developed by professional physiotherapists. Select programme, define the maximal pressure and start the massage.
Possibility to create own algorithm
BOA Max 2 is the only device in the world for lymphatic drainage which gives a possibility to create own algorithm. The user can set most efficient and pleasant massage creating pressure algorithm different than those suggested by the manufacturer.

Vodder technique drainage
Vodder technique drainage
Each of pre-set algorithms is started with a drainage known from a classic manual massage technique opening lymph outlets to the superficial inguinal lymph nodes, deep inguinal nodes and abdominal nodes.
High drainage efficacy is obtained when the inguinal area is cleared to order to effectively drain lymph by vertical lymphatic vessels (draining the tissue between the toes and the navel) and horizonal lymph vessels draining lymph from the pelvis. Only after such preliminary drainage, can drainage in the direction from foot to the abdomen be performed. In medicine this is called the Vodder technique. Each opening drainage algorithm on BOA device is called the same.
Highest treatment security All other devices in the world do not have the algorithm in accordance with the Vodder technique and there is no possibility to control the pressure in the cambers (small number of chambers in the cuffs). Use of such devices involves the risk of excessive lymph cumulation in the site of its outlet to the lymph nodes. It can lead to a painful and dangerous oedema and damage to lymph nodes.

Aplications
Sport massage as an introduction to training
Using the BOA Max 2 device before training will make the muscles stronger and better supplied with blood during a warm-up. The articular apparatus will be more flexible, it will transfer the increasing loads during an intense warm-up more easily and protect against injuries.
Wellness
After intense exercise, the structure of the so-called myofascia is stuck and homogenous, causing pain, reduced mobility and even inflammation. The use of the BOA Max 2 device will help restore mobility and elasticity to tissues and eliminate oedema and pain.
Increasing physical efficiency
Dynamic muscle stimulation through moderate sequential compression applied by the BOA Max 2 device changes the metabolic threshold before submaximal exertion. This, in turn, affects performance in the final phases of training or competition.
Special algorithms designed for athletes allow appropriate body preparation for exercise and its regeneration after training.
- 1. Sport massage
The SPORT MASSAGE algorithm of moderate intensity performed before planned large training loads will protect our body against the effects of training overloads and injuries.
The algorithms for multi-level sequential compressions will deliver more oxygenated blood to the muscles. Due to this dynamic muscle stimulation through moderate sequential compression, the metabolic threshold changes before submaximal exertion, which may affect performance in the last phases of training or competition.
- 2. Sequential wave
The SEQUENTIAL WAVE algorithm is an extremely effective complement to a warm-up. It prepares the body for planned physical activity. It can be performed on the lower and/or upper body parts.
The Sequential Wave Algorithm will raise the temperature processes in the muscular and articular apparatus. It will make the muscles stronger and better supplied with blood during a warm-up. The articular apparatus will be more flexible. It will transfer the increasing loads more easily during an intense warm-up and protect against injuries. It is one of the most popular massages among professional and amateur athletes. The massage is performed sequentially by compressing an air wave physiologically through the pressure cuff chambers of the BOA device to the muscles, fascia and tendons. It is the only type of massage that can be performed by a medical device without leaving home. The massage algorithm of gentle/moderate/ high strength and intensity can be adjusted to the individual needs of the massaged person.
- 3. Sport and pulsating massages
High-intensity SPORT and PULSATING MASSAGE algorithms will strengthen the regeneration processes of the body after exercise. They can be performed on the lower and/or upper body parts.
Algorithms of sequential high-intensity compressions (compression of 100-120 mmHg in distal sections), which are strengthened in the last phase by dynamic pulsation, are not only supposed to have a direct impact on tired muscles, but it is especially important that the compression stimuli reach the muscle fascia. After exercise, the structure of the so-called myofascia is stuck and homogeneous, leading to pain, reduced mobility and even inflammation. The purpose of this type of massage is to restore mobility and elasticity to tissues, and eliminate oedema and pain.
- 4. Lymphatic drainage
The LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE algorithm greatly supports the treatment of injuries. It can be performed on the lower and/or upper body parts.
Vascular damage is usually associated with injury. New vascularization is created during the treatment process. The massage performed with the appropriate technique and compression is intended to reduce oedema, support the process of creating new vessels and prevent scarring. The most gentle of all the Lymphatic Drainage algorithms using the Vodder technique moves the lymph and blood towards the lymph nodes and large blood vessels, eliminating congestion. This technique performed by the artificial intelligence of the BOA Max 2 device is the same as the technique known from manual lymphatic drainage and can be performed without leaving home thus avoiding unnecessary exposure to additional injuries.
- 5. Descending massage
DESCENDING algorithms work towards the post-exercise and anti-stress cooldown of the body.
The purpose of diversifying the massage by selecting descending algorithms that run in the opposite directions to those mentioned above is aimed at calming the body and relaxing not only after difficult and exhausting sports competitions, but also after high mental stress.
Healthier, more beautiful body effortlessly
Effective fight against cellulite
BOA massage facilitates the flow of freshly oxygenated blood to the epidermis layers, improving its appearance and firmness. Repeating the treatments regularly will stop cellulite and may even eliminate it.
Removal of metabolites
The drainage procedure restores the water and electrolyte balance in the intercellular spaces and prevents the accumulation of deposits. It forces the drainage of lymph and metabolites.
Oxygenation and nourishment of the epidermis
Improving blood circulation through unidirectional compression on peripheral veins accelerates the elimination of toxins and facilitates oxygen reaching the epidermis, making it perfectly nourished and oxygenated.
Special algorithms designed for a more beautiful and healthier body.
- 1. Anti Cellulite – Cellulite algorithm
This algorithm is intended for women struggling with the initial phase of cellulite (water cellulite) in order to reduce congestion, improve muscle oxygenation and improve microcirculation. The appropriate condition of the subcutaneous muscles has a direct effect on epidermis tension and reduction of the symptoms of “orange peel”.
- 2. Obesity – Slim and Vodder algorithms
For people struggling with local obesity (abdomen, buttocks, knees, breeches, pelicans), lymphatic drainage strengthens metabolic processes and has an impact on fat burning processes.
- 3. Heavy legs syndrome – Slim and Vodder algorithms
For people reducing the symptoms of heavy legs syndrome – drainage aimed at stimulating circulation and reducing oedema.
- 4. Stop varicose veins – Sport Massage algorithm
For people using varicose vein prevention. It is especially dedicated to people exposed to varicose veins who additionally use contraceptives, have a sedentary work, smoke cigarettes and do not engage in any physical activity.
- 5. Beautiful body – Slim and Cellulite algorithms
For women who care about their figure and want to reduce body circumference and improve skin tone. The reduction of oedema is visible after just one procedure and gives a satisfactory effect of reducing the circumference of the ankles, calves, thighs, hips, abdomen and arms. Strengthening the microcirculation allows to obtain the effect of detoxifying the epidermis and improves its quality and colour.
- 6. Relax – Relax algorithm
An efficient lymphatic system is the key to 24-hour protection against infection
An efficient immune system significantly increases the chances of a mild course of infection or its avoidance. One of the elements of its efficient functioning is the lymphatic system, which supports the body’s immunity 24 hours a day. That is why it is so important to strengthen and stimulate it, especially during times of reduced physical fitness and lack of contact with fresh air. Lymphocytes in the fight against microorganisms and pathogens
The lymphatic system cooperates with the cardiovascular system and participates in the transport of lymph containing proteins, electrolytes and lymphocytes, which are really valuable for the body. Lymphocytes control attacks on microorganisms and pathogens that are dangerous to health and life.
Adequate immunity only with an efficient lymphatic system
Lazy and dormant lymphocytes may miss or not react quickly enough to pathogens, including viruses, appearing in the body. Such a lowered immune response allows them to multiply and spread.
Lymphatic drainage ensures the proper functioning of the lymphatic system, and thus the immune system.
- Lymphatic drainage in the prevention of lymph congestion
Under normal conditions of human functioning, lymph is transported throughout the body due to skeletal muscle contractions. With limited movement and a sedentary lifestyle, this process becomes defective and the lymph circulation is insufficient, which significantly reduces the body’s resistance. Lymphatic drainage is a highly effective technique to support and activate lymphatic drainage. It prevents the formation of congestion and influences proper lymphatic circulation.
- Lymphatic drainage at home
Lymphatic drainage requires a great deal of medical and anatomical knowledge from the therapist. Due to the high degree of complexity and exhausting formula, it is carried out in a few health centres and aesthetic medicine clinics, and with the current limitations, it is practically impossible to perform. Fortunately, lymphatic drainage can be performed at home with the use of artificial intelligence integrated into the BOA MAX 2 medical device for lymphatic drainage and sequential pressure massage (pressotherapy).
- Drainage using the Vodder technique
High drainage efficiency is achieved when the groin area is decongested, and then the lymph is effectively drained through the vertical lymphatic vessels (draining the tissue between the toes and the navel) and the horizontal lymphatic vessels draining the lymph from the pelvis. Only after such initial drainage can you proceed to drainage from the foot to the abdomen. This technique is known in medicine as the VODDER technique. This is also the name of the algorithm that opens any type of drainage in the BOA device.
