CRYO-T ® Duo series cryostimulation devices
are powered by carbon dioxide (CO2). They enable easy and safe performance of local cryotherapy treatments.
CRYO-T Duo ® is recommended for clinics, hospitals, sanatoriums, rehabilitation and physiotherapy offices. The device can be easily moved, it can work at the patient's bedside, in exercise rooms, in rehabilitation or physical therapy offices.
Effects of CO2 in cryostimulation
A higher temperature of the cooling agent (about -80°C compared to -160°C in devices powered by liquid nitrogen) does not affect the effectiveness of cryostimulation – the most important thing is the speed of action and the amount of heat received, which is the same as in "nitrogen" devices.
In addition, CO2-powered devices use the synergy of cryostimulation and the therapeutic effect of carbon dioxide: absorbed by the skin, it has a strong spasmodic effect on blood vessels (increases the supply of oxygen to tissues), has a calming, relaxing and analgesic effect. This synergy gives extraordinary effectiveness of the appliance in therapeutic
